Genco Asphalt is a privately owned and operated family-based road construction company. Genco is seeking a full-time Shop Manager. Our approach to work is centered on quality and safety. Responsibilities:
-To effectively manage, organize and maintain the daily operations of our shop including ordering, receiving, equipment servicing, safeties, and all maintenance work to heavy equipment, semi-trucks, trailers, dump trucks etc.
- Coordinate and assign tasks to shop technicians and mechanics
-Establish work priorities, ensure deadlines are met
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies and parts
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with trucks and equipment

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- 3-5 years Heavy Duty Mechanic experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to diagnose and repair various types of vehicles and equipment
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
-Basic computer knowledge
-PME experience an asset
-Valid drivers license and recent drivers abstract
