Recruitment and Relocation incentive of $25,000.00 available for a 3 year return for service to the Community of North Battleford.

Saskatchewan Health Authority - North Battleford, is looking for Psychiatrists with an interest in forensic work as well as in the care and treatment of long-term rehabilitation patients.

The Saskatchewan Hospital is a 284-bed facility serving the province of Saskatchewan which includes 96 beds for mentally ill offenders from Correctional Services. There is no outpatient component to this position. On-call duties are shared with the Psychiatrists of the Battlefords Mental Health Centre in a 1 in 6 rotation.
Qualifications:
* Successful candidates will hold certification or be eligible for certification in Psychiatry from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada www.royalcollege.ca (Not applicable if eligible for Ministerial Licensure)
* Individuals must be eligible for licensure from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS) www.cps.sk.ca as well as have current registration with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
* In accordance with immigration requirements, preference will be given to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada.
