Description

We are looking for a new CEO/Registrar who is passionate about advancing the HR profession in Saskatchewan and across Canada. As the professional regulatory association for human resource practitioners, CPHR Saskatchewan ensures the protection of public interest and confidence in the practice of over 1400 members across Saskatchewan. The Association is the granting body of the CPHR designation in Saskatchewan, and is governed by The Chartered Professionals in Human Resources Act, and by its Board of Directors pursuant to its Bylaws.

The successful candidate represents the HR profession well through their skilled and principled executive leadership of the Board and their management of the association according to the strategic direction set by the Board. The CEO/Registrar enables the Board to achieve (or surpass) their governance and regulator mandate, fulfills the role of Registrar and its functions and provides oversight and leadership on the day-to-day operational activities.

Experience and Qualifications:

- A University degree in Business Administration or Commerce.
- A CPHR designation is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience is required with demonstrated competence in the areas of strategic and executive leadership, operational and people leadership, and financial and risk management.
- Strong relationship management and communication skills with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Previous Board governance and association management experience would be considered an asset.

CPHR Saskatchewan's office is located in Saskatoon, SK. The ideal candidate may not reside in Saskatoon, however, would be required to travel on a regular basis.
