Description

We are looking for an experienced agriculture professional to join us as a farm manager for 3400 acres near Edgeley, Sask. In this position, we expect you to take on a variety of responsibilities around the farm, from plowing, planting and seeding, spraying and combining, harvesting to testing soil for nutrient levels. In addition to actual crop duties, you are also responsible for scheduling maintenance for our farm equipment and basic tasks such as landscaping projects, such as lawn mowing and tree pruning.

Duties and responsibilities:
Planning finances and production to maintain a budget
Practical activities such as driving tractors, operating machinery and spraying fields
Buying supplies, such as fertilizers and seeds
Maintenance and repair of farm buildings, machinery and equipment
Maintaining and monitoring the quality of yield
1A licence and a degree in agriculture are definitely a bonus, but not required.
Pay will depend on experience
This is a full-time position with multiple year incentives
