This position is responsible to the General Manager.
The CS program provides employment for Adults with Disabilities with yard care, snow care, janitorial and other relevant duties. The role of supervisor is one of job coaching as such you will be required to work outdoors winter and summer with the teams supporting and training in the development of job skills. The role is expected to plan and facilitate training for individuals and complete assessments. Part of the role is also the maintenance of machinery, vehicles/lawn care equipment, ensuring inventory is completed and costings of replacement equipment.

This position also assists within the Recycling department in  training and supervision of participants.
The supervisor position is required to be flexible.
Excellent communication and computer skills are required.  The supervisor must be able to maintain a professional attitude with participants and co-workers. Humour, creativity, flexibility, willingness to try new things, patience and emotional stability as well as compassion are a few of the desired qualities. A clear criminal/vulnerable sector check and Class 5 Drivers license is mandatory. Benefits and pension plan offered after 3 months of completed probation.
