Description

About us

Certified Tree Services provides quality tree services to homeowners, property management services, and government grounds in Regina and the surrounding area. The company is owned and managed by Marc Picard who brings 45 years of experience and expertise to the company.

Our team helps home and property owners create pristine outdoor environments through tree maintenance, bolting and cabling to save damaged trees, complete tree removal, and stump grinding. Part of the services we offer includes providing our customers with a detailed explanation of our assessment so that they have a full understanding of what is involved in the job. We guarantee honesty, complete professionalism, and fair pricing on our estimates.

In everything we do, we work to bring satisfaction to our customers.

We are looking for an experienced Tree Climber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for trees and experience in tree care, pruning, trimming, and removal techniques. Ideally, the candidate will bring with them ISA Certification, although this is not a requirement for the position. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a growing team and make a real difference in the health of our local environment.

Responsibilities:

- Lead a team of two.
- Drive a chip truck.
- Prune trees and shrubs to maintain their health and safety.
- Inspect trees for signs of disease, insect infestation, or structural damage.
Identify tree species and recommend appropriate treatments.
- Remove dead or hazardous branches from trees.
- Operate chainsaws, pruning saws, chippers, and other equipment safely and effectively.
Provide consultation services to clients regarding tree care.
- Train and supervise crew members.
- Climb trees to perform inspections and treatments. (preferred)
- ISA Certification would be an asset but not required.
