Ability to Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff, working on the floor.
Supervises serving of meals.
Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages.
Determine daily coupons, ensure pricing is correct on the food menu.
Maintain inventory and ensure items are in stock.
Help staff achieve sales targets, keep records, such as the amount and cost of a meal served and hours worked by employees.
Approve contracts with vendors for food supply items.
Utilize computers to record sales figures, for data analysis and planning.
Establish methods to meet work schedules.
Train staff in job duties and sanitation and safety procedures.
Ensure that restaurant is clean up properly and ready for customers.
Responsible for reconciliation of daily cash, receipts, payments, expenses and deposit of cash into the bank.
Preparation of weekly staff scheduling.
