SASKATOON PUBLIC SCHOOLS REQUIRES A:
Transportation and Insurance Manager


Saskatoon Public Schools is looking for a Transportation and Insurance Manager responsible for overseeing the delivery of safe, on time and cost-effective student transportation as well as managing the insurance portfolio of the school division.
The successful candidate will work with our third party transportation providers to implement solutions for all students requiring transportation and anticipate and respond to transportation needs. The candidate will work closely with the school divisions insurance broker and group insurance provider to ensure that adequate and cost-effective insurance is secured to respond to the specific risks of the division. The candidate will be responsible for managing the budget and financial forecasting for all transportation and insurance expenses. The successful candidate will lead and supervise transportation and insurance staff.
Candidates will have a degree in business or administration.  A combination of education, experience and training may be considered which meets or exceeds the knowledge, skills and abilities required. Preference will be given to candidates who bring five or more years of previously related experience in effective management in transportation, insurance, accounting or finance.  Candidates will bring excellent analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
