The Rural Municipality of McKillop No. 220 is accepting applications for a Seasonal Maintenance Operator.
This position will commence on a mutually agreed upon date for the successful applicant and may lead to full-time employment. Applicants are required to have a valid driver's license and provide a driver's abstract.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
-Operating various pieces of equipment
-Equipment Maintenance/maintenance
-Rock picking
-installing culverts
-mowing ditches
-erecting signs
-Hamlet Maintenance
-Other duties as assigned by the Public Works Manager
Preference will be given to applicants that possess the following:
-Class 1A Driver's License
-Prior experience in public works and outside maintenance
-Ability to operate equipment such as a skid steer, grader, tractors, and mowers, etc.
-Some knowledge of servicing and maintaining various pieces of equipment
-Mechanical background
-Capability of working with minimal to no supervision
-Safety conscious can take direction and pays attention to detail
