Description

Sunnyside Adventist Care Centre is seeking a Summer member of the Maintenance team performing groundskeeping duties.  Experience in landscaping, yard maintenance, lawn mowing, trimming etc.  Experience in operating machinery such as lawn tractor, push mower, grass trimmer, and other various hand tools.  Must be able to tolerate various weather (hot, cold, windy).  Must have physical stamina to withstand long periods of standing, walking and bending.  

Added benefit if you are handy with minor repairs to grounds furnishings and equipment and general renovations. Will be required to assist in other maintenance areas (such as general labour, painting, etc) where required.

This position is funded by the Canada Summer Jobs program (a Youth Employment and Skills strategy) so eligible participants are required to be between 15 to 30 years of age and must be a Permanent Canadian resident or Citizen.

Anticipated start date early May with end date of end of August.
