Description

The Good Spirit School Division invites applications for a permanent part time Caretaker/Groundskeeper.  Caretakers are valuable members of the team who provide for a clean, functional and attractive environment in all facilities owned and operated by the Division.

Assignment and Term:
    This position consists of 3 hours per day.
    This position commences April 29, 2024.

The duties of a Caretaker are to:
Provide general care, upkeep, maintenance. Including:
   -Provide general janitorial care of the school
   -Sweep, mop, removal of garbage, sanitizing of surfaces
   -Other duties as assigned by Principal or Caretaker Coordinator and those listed in the Job Description on the website - Facilities: Caretaker.

The successful candidate will have the desired qualifications:
    -Minimum Grade 10 Education or equivalent
    -A valid drivers license
    -Take pride in maintaining a clean and operational facility
    -Direct experience in the caretaking and/or groundskeeping field and the ability to work independently and as a team member would be considered an asset.

Salary and Benefits:
    The successful candidate will be paid on a monthly basis at an hourly rate from $19.19 - $22.90 with vacation time accrued at the applicable rate.Benefits include participation in the Saskatchewan School Board Association (SSBA) Employee Benefits Plan, the Municipal Employees' Pension Plan and opportunities to attend professional development seminars.
