Queen City Excavating Inc. is a growing civil construction company based in Regina, SK and managed from Pilot Butte, SK.  We provide water, sewer, earthworks, construction & maintenance services to the Southern Saskatchewan region. We cater to the Industrial, Commercial, Institutional, and Residential sectors. We are seeking a qualified individual to maintain, in-house, our equipment & truck fleet.  

Role Description
This is a full-time Heavy Equipment Mechanic role at Queen City Excavating, based out of Pilot Butte, SK. Most of the work will be at our shop in Pilot Butte, with occasional on-site work as needed.

As a Mechanic at Queen City Excavating, you will be responsible for:

Maintenance, inspection, diagnosis and repair of:
-Construction equipment
-Light & heavy-duty trucks
-Light & heavy-duty trailers
Maintain equipment maintenance records
Manage & coordinate equipment maintenance schedules

Qualifications
-Commitment to customer service
-Commitment to delivering quality work
-Demonstrated mechanical ability
-Experience in construction equipment mechanics
-Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Journeyperson status is preferred
-Clean drivers abstract
