Description

Maria Montessori Preschool is looking for a cook for our 2 childcare centres of 70 - 90 licensed spaces with children 18 months - 6 years old. We are looking for individuals that have a passion cooking nutritious meals and snacks in a fast paced early learning environment. Candidates must be able to work with minimal supervision, have good oral, written, and reading communication skills.

Requirements of the role include Food Safe Certificate, a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Records Check. Expectations include baking and preparing meals Monday - Friday, that follow the Canada Food Guide, washing of dishes, cleaning and sanitizing of the kitchen daily, purchasing groceries online for weekly delivery.
