Description

The Shurniak Art Gallery seeks a Summer Arts Activities Program Coordinator for summer employment commencing May 21August 17, 2024, 30 hrs/week Partially funded through Young Canada Works.

Duties include:
- tour school groups and help with activities from the education package provided
- develop and lead a weekly art focused hands on workshops for children and youth starting in July
-assist with the hanging of exhibitions
- greet visitors to the Gallery
- digitally catalogue permanent collection
- daily duties of the Gallery
- assist with children/youth Summer Art Camp
