Description

The purpose of the HydroVac operator is to assist in  the coordination and installation of underground conduit, cables and utilities.

Mandatory Qualifications:
Grade 12 or equivalent
Class 5 Drivers' License with clean driver's abstract and air brake endorsement ( or willing to get air brake endrosement)
Must be able to pass criminal record check
Experience in a telecom or utilities environment
Willing to travel, work extended hours in a Modified Work Arrangement, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Nice to have:
Class 1A or air brake endorsement
Experience running construction or earthworks equipment
Experience in a telecom environment
Additional safety training certifications. ie) ground disturbance, confined space, etc
Must be proficient in MS Office Suite programs (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.).
Ability to perform minor mechanical maintenance
