Job Description: The Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP), under the direction of the Manager of Rehabilitation Services is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing speech and language services for adult population. SLP completes speech, language, and swallowing/feeding assessments and treatments according to departmental procedure, best practices and established standards of practice, professional competency.
Required Qualifications

Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (SASLPA)
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to travel both within the region and provincially
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Advanced communication skills
Advanced interpersonal skills
Advanced organizational skills
Other Information

Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.  HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.

This is a regional position currently based out of North Battleford.  This is a designated field hours position.  Successful incumbent may qualify for a $10,000.00 recruitment incentive and up to $3,000.00 in relocation assistance, depending on eligibility.  The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a criminal record check (CRC) from every potential SHA team member.
