We are very excited to be growing our Sandbox Mutual Insurance family.
We have a vacancy for 2 permanent full-time positions of Underwriting Clerks (Personal Lines) and are on the search for our team members. Reporting to the Supervisor, Underwriting (Farm/Commercial), the successful candidate will process the clerical work of the underwriting department.

As an Underwriting Clerk, YOU Will Be Responsible For
-Processing new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations including correspondence.
-Locating documents for incoming mail.
-Filing documents as required.
-Answering phones in the absence of senior staff.
-Relieving switchboard operator as required.
-Assisting with mail clerk duties as required.
-Training other clerical staff.
-Printing various forms, including declaration pages, billing notices, cheques, and reports.
-Scanning new business.
-Setting up new clients.
-Performing related duties as required.

What We Need From YOU!
-Completion of Grade 12 education.
-Six months experience in an office.
-Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
-Ability to perform detailed work accurately.
-Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees.
-Effective keyboarding skills.

This unionized position offers an annual salary range of $41,375 - $46,693, a comprehensive benefits package, a fun and inclusive work environment, professional development opportunities and the potential for further advancement within the company.
