Description

The accounting clerk is responsible for performing various financial and bookkeeping tasks for our agriculture manufacturing company. This role encompasses managing accounts receivable, inventory management, preparing monthly bookkeeping, handling filing, streamlining processes, and creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for tasks related to the role. The bookkeeper will also be responsible for preparing a training manual and should be proficient in using financial software like QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, including Excel.

What will you do?

    Accounts Receivable: Oversee accounts receivable, generate and send customer invoices, monthly statements, record payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.

    Inventory Management: In combination with invoicing, update inventory spreadsheet and track orders shipping out.
o    Provide monthly inventory updates and ensure warehouse and spreadsheet counts match.

    Filing: Organize and maintain financial documents and records in Microsoft Office.

    Monthly Bookkeeping Preparation: Match expenses to monthly statements and prepare for Bookkeeper to reconcile.

    Streamlining Processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Evaluate and streamline financial processes. Update SOPs for tasks related to the role to ensure consistency and efficiency. Develop a comprehensive training manual for the role.

    Software Utilization: Proficiently use financial software such as QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office, including Excel.
