Facility: Beauval Health Centre
Job Description: Under the direction of the program manager and working within an interdisciplinary mental health and addiction team, the Community Mental Health Nurse, in adherence to nursing practice standards, will provide a range of clinical services to a population of children, youth and families living with acute and persistent mental health disorders.  The Community Mental Health Nurse will be accountable for the provision of screening, assessment, referral, case management, treatment, as well as, program development and evaluation.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Nursing or Bachelor Degree in Psychiatric Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Registered or eligible for registration with the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS)
Experience
Experience
-  Requires a minimum of two years (post graduate) recognized experience in a mental health setting working with children, youth and families presenting with acute and chronic mental health problems.

Other
-  Ability to travel as required by position (valid Saskatchewan Driver's License)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to design, initiate and conduct in service training for other professionals
Ability to enter and retrieve data in computer database systems
Ability to identify, implement and evaluate areas of client difficulty across a wide range of clinical presentation and formulate evidence based intervention
Ability to implement a variety of evidence based intervention strategies (individual or group) for individuals with mental health and addiction problems.
