Description

The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties:
Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring they are accurate and up to date
Enter employee timesheets and hours worked into the payroll system accurately and in a timely manner
Review timesheets and employee information to verify the accuracy of hours worked and resolve any discrepancies
Maintain an organized and efficient filing system for payroll records, ensuring easy retrieval and adherence to data security protocols
Collaborate with the Payroll Officer to support the overall payroll process, including but not limited to payroll calculations, deductions, and tax withholding
Ensure that all payroll activities adhere to relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as company policies
Maintain open and clear communication with employees to address any payroll-related queries and concerns
Assist in generating various payroll reports as required by the Finance department and management. This includes reconciling Xyntax data with Bamboo
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in finance, accounting, or a related field is a plus
Previous experience in payroll, data entry, or record-keeping is preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Proficiency in using payroll software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion
Other assigned duties as required
Punctual, honest, and reliable
Valid Class 5 Drivers License
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Able to manage time efficiently and effectively
