A Moose Jaw non profit that provides outreach services for senior citizens is looking for a casual care aide.
Must be able to work mornings on weekdays shifts.
You will provide personal care and activities of daily living for clients. Supports clients in meeting their needs.
Getting client up in the morning, assist with bathing, showers, dressing, breakfast. You also will do light house cleaning, companionship services.
Required Qualifications -
Continuing Care Assistant certificate
Experience with assisting senior citizens.
You are respectuful, kind, understanding and patient with senior citizens. You are joyful, positive attitude, smile a lot, and like to talk and visit with seniors.
You will be going out to seniors own homes and working on your own.
Ability to work independently
Basic computer skills.
Provide personal care and activities of daily living; assist with meals, feeding clients, do laundry, help with transport to and in wheelchair, assist with bath, shower, dressing, grooming, teeth and mouth care. INCLUDE A COPY OF YOUR CERTIFICATES AND YOUR REFERENCES WITH YOUR RESUME.
Qualifications:
Must have at least 3 years experience, Clean Criminal Record Check, willing to wear a mask in seniors homes, and proper PPE, must have a completed CCA Course or PSW Course
BRING A COPY WITH YOUR RESUME
Advanced Communication skills are a must - including must speak and understand clear proficient English.
Willing to get Food Safe Certificate, First Aid certificates.
Provide a clear criminal record if hired.
Must have a vehicle and a drivers liscence.
Work in Moose Jaw and surrounding rural area.
Must have a cell phone that works
