LaLoche Housing Authority manages a property and program services portfolio on behalf of Saskatchewan Housing Corporation. The Housing Authority provides affordable housing to seniors, families, and others, who could not otherwise access safe, secure shelter in LaLoche and surrounding communities.

The Housing Authority has a seasonal opportunity for a self-motivated, results oriented Groundskeeper and Maintenance Worker to join the team for the busy summer months from May  October 2024.

Responsibilities vary day to day and include mowing lawns, trimming trees and shrubs, cleaning eaves and some exterior and interior work, as assigned.  

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Minimum Grade 12, or equivalent, supplemented by related grounds keeping experience.
Knowledge of and experience using groundskeeping equipment, hand and power tools.
Positive personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, efficiency, time management and good judgment.
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, and work amongst tenants and the public.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, work independently and meet deadlines.
Recognition of, and respect for, people's diversity.
A reliable vehicle and cell phone are required.


This is a full time, seasonal position to work Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours/week.

The position is expected to start as soon as possible for a term through to October 31, 2024.  Salary is $14.00 per hour.
