Description

Express Employment is currently looking for Legal Assistants candidates with experience assisting in Corporate law or Real Estate Law areas! The ideal candidate would possess experience a solid base of administrative experience in addition to direct experience in the Corporate legal field, however candidates that possess 2-5 years of Legal Assistant experience in other areas of law will still be considered.

Job Duties Include but are not Limited to:

Day to day file management.
Filing of new corporations, business name & limited partnership registrations, and other legal admin duties pertaining to corporate law.
Drafting and finalizing legal documents.
Reporting to and working directly with human resources and all staff and lawyers in the Regina office.
Provide back up coverage in the absence of other legal assistants.
Required Skills and Experience:

Must possess at least 2-5 years experience in an administrative capacity with demonstrated organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
2 or more years of Corporate legal assistant experience is preferred
Experience in the ISC platform for Corporate Registry and land Title Searches
Experience using SEDI website for disclosing people who have vested interest in the publicly traded corporations would be an asset.
Experience using SEDAR platform for filing material change reports of publicly traded corporations would be an asset
ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and exercise discretion and impartiality when necessary
Must possess impeccable interpersonal & client service skills
extensive electronic file management responsibilities
strong attention to detail including proofreading, writing, spelling and grammar skills
