Description

Meadow Lake and District Early Years Family Resource Centre Requires Full Time Permanent Early Years Facilitator

Overview of Responsibilities:
*Work under the direction of the Early Years Family Resource Centre Coordinator.
*Collaborate with a team to create an enriching learning environment for families at the Early Years Family Centre site, including hosting family free play, and leading group programs.
*Plan and facilitate age-appropriate, play-based learning that aligns with child development stages.
*Connect families with community services, programs, and agencies as needed.

Qualifications:
*Understanding of child development and family systems.
*Familiarity with local community services and resources.
*Knowledge of high-quality early learning environments and engaging play setups.
*Strong cultural competence and respect for family diversity.
*Awareness of health and safety regulations.
*Strong communication skills.
*Proficiency in using technology.
*Experience collaborating in a team setting.
*Flexibility to work during regular hours, early evenings, and weekends.
*Valid first aid and CPR certification (training provided if needed).
*Valid driver's license.
*Successful completion of criminal record and vulnerable sector checks.
