Summary
All Nations Hope Network (ANHN) is looking for a Community Research Navigators (CRN) for Kiskinowphkewin Manitou Ishcikwin project. The Kiskinowphkewin Manitou Ishcikwin CRNs will be responsible for building weekly programming and working closely with the Warriors of the project.
ANHN has developed a research project that will implement and assess the impact of land and gender-based cultural interventions among urban Indigenous men in Regina. ANHN is applying past research learnings to develop evidence-informed, culturally responsive interventions that address both the origin and impact of imposed inequities. This project will design, implement, and evaluate an Indigenous mens program of cultural intervention practices (CIPs) informed by Indigenous knowledges of the Treaty territories near Regina.
Responsibilities:
Complete project orientation/training with Coordinator
Recruit and retain Warriors
Build programming and facilitate sharing circles with Warriors
Debrief process with Coordinator
Assist the Research Assistant with data gathering, transcribing and analysis for the end of the project
CRNs work closely with and report to the Coordinator
Qualifications:
Relevant post-secondary degree or certificate or equivalent work experience in the field
Related experience in crisis support, substance use issues, mental health and addictions
Demonstrate knowledge of community agencies and their relevant programs and services
Strong preference to First Nations, Mtis or Inuit man with experience working in Indigenous communities
