We are looking for two self-motivated Dental Assistants with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills to help deliver and promote our Dental Care Program. By providing dental services and dental health education to children enrolled in the Lac La Ronge Indian Bands Dental Therapy Program.
About the Organization: LLRIBHS promotes Dental Health services and Dental Health education to all community members of LLRIB. We work closely with the schools and other health organizations. Together with others, we work to build capacity and educate as we both address acute needs and the determinants of health.
About the position: Working within the Lac La Ronge Indian Band Schools you will prepare and assist the Dental Therapist / Dentist during dental procedures, provide fluoride treatments, instruction on oral hygiene, (brush & floss), book and confirm appointments, document client records, provide infection control/sterilization and maintain a positive public relation with clients and other general office duties as required.
