Job Description: This position is accountable to the Executive Director of Primary Health Care (Provincial). The Project Manager is responsible for the ongoing planning, coordination and implementation of assigned projects on time, within the approved scope and within the specified budget, using the corporate project management framework. Our projects are focused on improving the experience and environment for our patients, clients, residents, families and staff.
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall development, management and leadership of various interdisciplinary teams consisting of both internal and external stakeholders, as they interact with the project. The Project Manager facilitates and provides detailed planning, costing and ongoing consultation that is comprehensive and collaborative, aligning with strategic planning. This individual is also responsible for administrative management of physical and financial resources.
Required Qualifications
Trained in Project Management Institute (PMI) standards and guidelines with eligibility PMP Certification
Experience
5-10 years of experience in project management
Experience with change management projects is an asset
Experience with financial management related to project budgets, purchasing and/or contract procurement/management is an asset
Lean Leader training is an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to be flexible and willing to adapt to change in workload.
Computer skills in such programs as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
Demonstrable skills in tact, diplomacy, and leadership
Knowledge of information technology design, programming and implementation is an asset
