What youll do:
Reporting to the Gas Bar Manager, the Trainee will play a key role in providing leadership and guidance in supporting the overall business objectives of the department.  As a hands-on leader, the Trainee will work along side with team members to deliver exceptional service and value to our customers.  Additional responsibilities include:

    Support achievement of established sale targets and margins.
    Order and price fuel and confectionary merchandise.
    Support local community initiatives and fundraising activities.
    Lead marketing and promotional efforts.
    Support a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
    Provide products, assistance, and service to customers.
    Provide assistance with staff and customer complaints.
    Provide assistance with scheduling, recruitment, and training of new team members.
    OHS Supervision and Safety course required.
    Complete safety training as required.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:
    You have a Grade 12 Diploma
    You have 1  2 years experience in a supervisory role and leading others.
    Youre honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
    You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
    Previous retail supervisory experience is considered an asset.
