Description

Commissionaires North Sask Division is currently accepting applications for a Full-Time Payroll Specialist. The position is Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm in office.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities':  Responsible in the completion and creation of Commissionaire timesheets resulting in the accurate payment of employees and invoicing of clients. Responsible for the completion of calculations, reports and other duties as required by the Manager.  Responsible for year end procedures, matching to CRA, point of contact for employee call-ins. Processing of payroll through accounting programs on a bi-weekly basis for all employees. Creating reports required and distribute, update earning and deduction codes and complete any needed adjustments. Accurately enter new employee data and maintain existing employee data. Ensure accuracy of personal information, tax and employment status. Assist in entering data for payroll and invoicing for all employees, assist in auditing timesheets and sign in logs, and verify pay and bill rates (effect change where necessary).  Accurately entering and updating of client information in the accounting program and create invoices for a variety of clients. Assist in the sending out all accounts receivable invoices and follow up with Clients on outstanding invoices. Manage a large portfolio of employees, understand payroll calendars, payroll cycles, with various software programs that the organization utilizes. Other duties as assigned by the Manager.



Must have excellent customer service skills This position also requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Payroll Compliance Professional designation would be an asset.
