The Saskatchewan Research Councils (SRC) Rare Earth Element Division has an opening for a Materials Coordinator to provide support for the construction of SRCs Rare Earth Processing FacilityNorth Americas first fully integrated, commercial, demonstration facility with hydrometallurgy, separation and metal smelting units. The Facility will begin to establish a rare earth element (REE) technology hub in Saskatchewan, forming an industry model for future commercial REE initiatives and supply chain development. This is a unique opportunity to join and contribute to developing an exciting business venture for the province of Saskatchewan.
Accountabilities
Logistics coordination for incoming shipments of equipment, parts, and supplies
Safely handle construction and operations warehousing requirements including offloading and loading of trucks, receiving, storing, shipping, and transferring goods to internal or external clients
Facilitate timely ordering of parts, chemicals, and supplies
Draft and support creation of procurement documents such as Request for Quotations (RFQ), Purchase Requisitions, and Purchase Orders
Handle shipping products to external clients, including quality documents and required permits
Record all inventory transactions in Microsoft Excel and Dynamics 365
Handle materials and inventory using various machinery, including cranes and forklifts
Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations
Qualifications
Three to five years warehouse coordination experience in an industrial environment
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Applications and Dynamics 365 is an asset
The chosen candidate will be required to provide an original Criminal Record Check that is satisfactory to SRC prior to the commencement of any employment duties. The Criminal Record Check must have been executed within the preceding 30 days of receipt.
