Description

The Ministry of Highways, Bridge Branch is seeking a Trades Helper to work as a part of a crew in Prince Albert. Job duties for this position may include operation of light duty trucks, and keeping records and logs (e.g., Hours of operation for equipment, repairs, maintenance done to equipment, amounts of material applied to highways, etc.). You will also establish work zones and erect appropriate signs.

To qualify for this position:

- You must hold a valid class 5 driver's license;
- You will have the ability to be away from Prince Albert headquarters on a weekly basis;
- You must be physically fit for this demanding position which involves heavy lifting; and
- You must have the ability to develop and maintain positive work relationships with co-workers. You will also have the ability to create an environment that supports, respects and welcomes diversity.

- Self-motivated to complete tasks; and
