Duties and responsibilities:

While demonstrating these values each day, the Administrative Assistant will provide excellent customer service and administrative support for the branch.

Duties include:
-  Front Desk reception duties including answering/redirecting calls from a multi-line computerized telephone system
-  Processing of accounts payable/receivables and preparing/processing department invoices
-  Responsible for Petty Cash/VISA card disbursements/receipts including bi-weekly deposits and financial reporting
-  Creates, prepares, edits, and formats documents including file set-up/maintenance and MyCompass data entry
-  Prepares and submits monthly billing for fee-for-service programs
-  Completes clerical tasks including booking accommodations, generating quotes for services and booking venues, recommending suppliers and sponsors, proofing documents
-  Assists with branch marketing and fundraising events/campaigns and provides social media supports
-  Provides staff training ongoing as it relates to program software/databases/Microsoft Office
-  Responsible for daily office operations including incoming/outgoing/interoffice mail and office supply ordering
-  Coordinates in-house social activities and events

Qualifications:
Education:
-  Office Administration Diploma/Certificate or equivalent combination of knowledge and experience
-  Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle
Experience:
-  Minimum two years direct experience in administrative assistant role
