Job Description: The Mental Health Social Worker BSW acts as a specialist for the provision of social work services to inpatients and their families/support group within the Inpatient Psychiatric unit at CRH. This position will also assess a defined portion of incoming referrals from the CRH emergency department and assist identified patients with accessing services appropriate to their needs. The Social Worker BSW will perform generalized social work services as assigned. This position is part of a multi-disciplinary team comprised of psychiatric nurses, registered nurses, continuing care aides and psychiatrists.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Social Work
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
Valid Drivers License
Experience
One year experience in mental health or a related field within the past three years.
