Description

Overall Main Responsibilities:
    Ability to understand oral and written English and follow instructions as required.
    Ability to read engineering drawings/blueprints, including understanding of symbols, dimensions, angles and degrees.
    Knowledgeable and responsible for using measuring tools, hand tools and power tools.
    Ability to understand the basic fundamentals of different fabrication machineries and maintenance procedures.
    Reports any rejections, process abnormalities, machine breakdowns/troubles, unsafe and unsanitary conditions @ workplace without delay.
    Accountable for recording daily work tickets
    Responsible for keeping work area clean and organized and performing other routine works as instructed by his superior.
Knowledge Required:
    2 years of fabrication works experience is preferred.
    Combination of education and experience will be considered assets.
Experience and Skills Required:  
    Mechanical aptitude will be considered an asset; experience using measuring instruments is required.
    Fork Lift and/or Crane Operator Licences will be considered an asset but is not required; in house on-site training will be provided to those who require it.
The successful applicants must have a superior
work ethic, excellent time management skills and a
positive attitude. The work environment will
include; working alone or as part of a team and
following safe work practices. Advanced experience
in the agricultural industry will be considered an
asset in addition to any manufacturing related
certifications.
