Description

The Rural Municipality of Marquis No. 191 is now accepting applications for a seasonal Maintenance Operator. There is an opportunity for advancement to Grader Operator for the right motivated individual. Start date to be determined as mutually agreed upon.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Maintain effective work relationships with Council, Administrator, Foreman, and Ratepayers;
Follow direction and work unsupervised;
Demonstrate high standards of work practices; and,
Be willing to acquire and upgrade skills as requested.

Preference will be given to those candidates that possess:
Knowledge of, and ability to operate graders, tractors, mowers, and other equipment;
Knowledge in road maintenance, preservation and construction an asset;
Mechanical skills;
Good communication and organization skills;
Ability to work independently and with others;
Good work ethic;
Desire to learn; and,
Have a valid driver's license.
