Description

This position is responsible for the maintenance of properties and equipment owned by KIN Enterprises Inc.  The Maintenance Supervisor will ensure that all maintenance functions are completed in a timely, safe, and responsible manner.  This position reports directly to the Executive Director. This position will be based out of the 40th Street location but will be responsible for the Sage Program location and 15th Street as requested.  Work hours for this position are 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday-Friday.  Hours are flexible and may be adjusted as required.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1.    To perform all maintenance functions not requiring the use of a professional. (Small repairs, changing lights, floor cleaning, snow removal, lawn care, etc.)
2.    To ensure that proper safety practices are followed.  
3.    To assist in all work areas when needed.
4.    To direct the work of participants assigned as maintenance personnel.
5.    To pick up and remove surplus property and process it for disposal or auction.
6.    To provide advisory assistance in regards to equipment and facility needs and conditions.
7.    To inspect KIN properties as required and ensure safe conditions.
8.    To inspect and document the condition of all KIN vehicles and ensure their proper operation.
9.    To maintain all equipment manuals and tool inventories.
10.    To review any work orders and ensure proper documentation.
11.    To establish and evaluate a preventative maintenance program.
12.    To direct any relevant employees in the use of safety equipment and procedures.
13.    To produce and complete reports as required.
14.    To demonstrate initiative in the performance of assigned responsibilities.
