We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in providing essential care and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have a passion for assisting others and ensuring the well-being of patients.

Position
Full-time and Part-Time

As a Continue Care Assistance your typical day will impact the following ways:
    Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
    Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
    Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs
    Administer medications under the direction of healthcare professionals
    Help with light housekeeping tasks and maintain a clean environment
    Assist with mobility, including lifting or transferring clients when necessary
    Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behaviour
    Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
    Continuing Care Assistant certificate
    Certification as a nurse assistant is preferred
    Basic Computer Skills
    Knowledge about the medical devices
    Experience in meal preparation for individuals with specific dietary requirements
    Ability to perform heavy lifting when needed
    Knowledge of home care practices and procedures
    Familiarity with medication administration protocols
    Previous experience in nursing homes or assisted living facilities is a plus
    Understanding of dementia care and senior care practices
    Compassionate and patient-centred approach to patient care
