The Mann Art Gallery is currently seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to fill the role of Administrative Office Assistant. This integral position is vital to the smooth operation of our gallery, responsible for managing administrative duties, bookkeeping tasks, and providing support across various organizational functions.
Reporting directly to the Administrative Director, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with all team members to oversee administrative budgets and foster positive relationships with the public. Key responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day office operations, managing financial transactions using QuickBooks, maintaining records of memberships and donations, coordinating gallery events, managing the gift shop, and providing administrative support as required. Flexibility is essential, as the role may require occasional evening and weekend hours for special events.
The ideal candidate will possess a diploma or certificate in Office or Business Administration, at least two years of relevant experience, proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite, exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities. Previous experience in an arts or cultural organization is advantageous.
