Job Order Detail

Description

The primary responsibility will be to operate heavy equipment such as compactors & loaders. Experience with a variety of equipment and tools used in municipal landfill department is considered an asset.  Must have a current Class 5 Drivers License.

Duties include:
Operating Heavy Equipment, adhering to all safety protocols such as wearing the appropriate PPE, site maintenance, keeping accurate records, customer service, being prepared to respond to emergencies such as fires & spills, other duties as assigned

Wearing "CSA Approved" footwear at all times is a condition of employment and will be the responsibility of the employee to purchase.

The successful candidate will have heavy equipment operating experience and be familiar with computers and Microsoft Office.

An RCMP Criminal Records Check will be required prior to commencement of employment

Position will remain open until filled

Wages and benefits will be paid according to the CUPE Local 777-01 Agreement.
