Job Description: Reporting to the Primary Health Care Manager, the Palliative Home Care Nurse provides professional nursing care to meet the physical, psychosocial, rehabilitative and emotional needs of the client in a safe and efficient manner, and in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Experience
1. If Registered Psychiatric Nurse, dual registration is required with the SRNA & RPNAS.
2. A demonstrated ability to meet and work with clients, utilizing sound judgment, tact, initiative, high standards of integrity and responsibility.
3. Ability to manage crisis with flexibility, tact and skill.
4. Ability to work cooperatively with other professionals and the general public.
5. Possess a valid drivers license and ability to travel extensively.
6. Demonstrated commitment to professional growth.
