Description

The Summer Student will be assisting with the MFN Community Clean Up and maintenance of MFN outside grounds.  You may also be required to assist other departments with lifting, cleaning, painting, answering phones, but not limited to. Dress code will be enforced. All participants will be required to take an online course for safety training. The 2024 Summer Student Program will be delivered under the direction of the Income Assistant Director.

Qualifications
Currently registered as a full-time student for the 2024-2025 academic year and just completed the 2023- 2024 Academic Year.
Must be a minimum of 15 years of age or going into Grade 10.
Social Insurance Number must be presented before start.
Will be working with outdoor motor equipment.
Must be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
Ability to work in a public and office setting.
Work as a team player.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Cell phone usage is not allowed on shift.
A valid driver's license (class 5) would be an asset.
Priority will be given to those students who haven't been previously selected.

Job Requirements
Working with small motor equipment (lawn mowers, weed whackers, etc.)
All participants will be required to take an online course for safety training.
Must wear Personal Protective equipment at all job sites when required.
Follow and abide by The MFN Policy and Procedure manual.

Pay is $17.17 per hour worked, less payroll deductions such as employment insurance and income tax (if applicable).
