GE Environmental Solutions is seeking an experienced site supervisor who is proficient in geomembrane installations to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing daily onsite activities. Extensive travel throughout western Canada will be required.
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
Coordinate and supervise all onsite construction activities
Must have a Class 5 Drivers License and a clean driver's abstract
Ability to travel and be away from home for up to 24 days at a time
Ability to work 10-14 hours a day, depending on the weather
Adapt to changing weather and project schedules
Strong written communication skills
Physically fit, must be able to lift 23kg
Basic computer knowledge
Pass the pre-employment test as a requirement for site-specific access
Submit QAQC, daily progress, safety documents, and timesheets daily
Supervise a crew of 4-12 personnel
Forman/supervisory experience of 2 years in a geomembrane environment
Follow site and company policies
Training is not mandatory, but it is an asset. Candidates with the following training will be given preference:
IAGI
First aid
CSTS
H2S alive
Confined space
Leadership safety excellence
Fire extinguisher training
General mine awareness
SCOT
Pay:
$30-40 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Permanent full-time position
Overtime pay
