A SUBWAY Supervisor performs and directs overall restaurant management when the Manager is not working. Helps directs staff to ensure that food safety, product preparation, and cleanliness standards are maintained. Helps maintains standards of restaurant safety and security. Helps with recruiting staff and oversees training program. Will learn the inventory and money control systems. Helps with local marketing initiatives may contact prospective customers to promote sales. Helps maintains business records. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this position.
Hire, Train and Supervise staff as per franchise standards.
Co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food.
Weekly inventory calculation and order supplies required for meal preparation.
Prepare and serve food with Subway standards.
Establish methods to meet work schedules
Maintain records of stock, sales and wastage.
To Do Bank deposits and record keeping for all invoices.
Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
Contract neighbour business for possible catering order and sales.
