The Moosomin Housing Authority (MHA) is currently recruiting a part -time (0.4 FTE) Administrative Assistant to join a job share team.
If you have excellent organizational skills, are able to multitask, and thrive in a team environment, we have a position that may be of interest to you!
In this front-line administrative position, you will:
Respond to incoming calls and walk in traffic;
Respond to general inquiries, promoting awareness and understanding of housing programs;
Perform financial and administration functions including: record keeping, tracking, scheduling, receipting and preparing payment vouchers and deposits and other office duties as required;
Perform various tenant relations functions including tenant administration and responding to tenant inquiries.
What we are looking for:
Efficient with Microsoft Office
Knowledge of basic accounting procedures
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide professional service to clients/customers
What you will need:
Grade 12 or equivalent (some post-secondary in business administration would be an asset)
Overall knowledge of all office systems and procedures
Recognition of, and respect for peoples diversity and individual differences
An approved Criminal Record Check will be required, upon hire.
This is a part time position to work as part of a job share team and will work full days on a 0.4 FTE basis.
