Description

This is a provincial role and can be based in Saskatoon, Regina, or Prince Albert.
The Build Operations Manager is responsible for the execution to completion of builds and warranty work across the province. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this position works closely with the entire Leadership Team to ensure effective operations within the organization.

Responsibilities
-Negotiate, prepare, and manage contractual agreements with construction management companies, consultants, and trades.
-Identify and procure land for future build projects throughout the province.
-Work within project budgets, maintaining accountability for all projected and actual costs throughout the project's implementation.
-Coordinate with the finance team to review all invoices and quotes from contractors.
-Lead the development of project schedules and milestones, monitor progress, and identify efficiencies in construction planning and project management.
-Set possession/move-in ready dates based on construction completion dates in collaboration with Homeowner Services.
-Manage work or renovations at vacant properties and oversee the Buy Back process for older Habitat homes, including inspection and appraisal.
-Quality Control and Risk Management oversight as you will oversee all quality control and safety aspects of Habitats builds, ensuring that jobsite procedures and controls are implemented by all personnel.
-Track and report on all required and completed warranty work, oversee warranty walkthroughs, and manage deficiencies. Contract third-party companies or coordinate internal teams to complete warranty work.
-Collaborate with the Fundraising department on grant applications, participate in strategic operations planning with the Leadership team, and manage relationships with property management companies.
