Description

Moose Jaw Events Centre,  is currently accepting applications for the position of Director of Operations.  The 210,000 square foot facility is in the heart of the historic downtown and is host to the WHL Moose Jaw Warriors, the AAA Warriors, 8 sheet curling rink as well as meeting and conference space.

The Director of Operations manages, supervises and coordinates the day-to-day of the Operations and Housekeeping departments at Moose Jaw Events Centre. This includes but is not limited to the facility; including engineering, maintenance, technology support systems, set-up/changeovers, custodial/housekeeping and grounds keeping. The Director of Operations also provides overall administrative planning, budgeting assistance, direction, and policies to operating managers and supervisors, assuring the highest quality service program.

As an experienced manager in a sports facility, or arena, and obtain a Refrigeration Engineer Certificate or a 5th Class refrigeration Certificate, you possess a boots on the ground managing style to work with the team through conversions and day to day needs of the facility to ensure success for the department.
