The Role
Cameco is looking for passionate professionals to lead the safety, health, environment, radiation, and quality (SHEQ) functions at the Rabbit Lake operation.  In this role you will manage the SHEQ team in support of safe and efficient care and maintenance of the operation. You will work with various stakeholders to promote compliance and continuous improvement of Camecos processes and activities.

In this role, you will:
-Communicate with regulatory agencies and representatives
-Collaborate with cross functional project and inter-operational teams
-Provide contractor management and oversight
-Oversight of emergency response and fire protection activities and programs
-Coach and develop team members to improve overall performance and to achieve objectives

Required:
-Bachelors degree in science, engineering, or a related field
-Ten years of experience in SHEQ functional roles with five years in a supervisory capacity
-Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
-Emergency response experience and/or certification or willingness to obtain
-Work a flexible schedule and commute to site by aircraft

Recommended:
-Experience in the mining and/or nuclear industry
-Familiarity with multiple SHEQ functions

Preference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewans North (RSN).
