Description

We are currently recruiting for a Human Resources Coordinator to work as part of our team dedicated to the treatment and success of youth in our care.

Under the direction of the Executive Director or their Designate, the Human Resources Coordinator is primarily responsible for providing professional confidential support in the following areas:
- Recruitment: participating in all phases of the recruitment process
- Benefit Administration: responsible for the day-to-day administration of benefits to new and existing employees.
- Training: register, coordinate and manage appropriate employee mandatory internal and external job training opportunities and schedules to meet organizational needs.
- Personnel: preparation and review of job descriptions, policy and procedure development, and producing human resources related reports and statistics.
- Back-up Support for Payroll and Accounts Payable Administration

Minimal Requirements:
- Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration or Management and one (1) year of related work experience; or Grade 12 or equivalent and three (3) years of related work experience.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly organized and efficient, skilled at multi-tasking.
- Positive and personable demeanor.
- Understanding, empathetic, and relatable.
- Personal integrity and a sense of responsibility and accountability.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and the ability to provide a clear criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.
