Description

Job Description: We are looking for a diligent Maintenance and Repair Worker to join our team. This individual will play a key role in maintaining the functionality, safety, and appearance of our facilities, ensuring a positive experience for both customers and staff.

Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance, cleaning and repairs on building structures, electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC. Address issues with restaurant equipment, including coffee machines and refrigeration units. Oversee the unloading and organization of delivered products twice a week, handling approximately 6 pallets at each location. -required to lift ~ 40lbs. Manage and maintain the cleanliness and organization of storage facilities. Carry out landscaping duties, including lawn mowing, shrub watering, and general upkeep of outdoor areas, as well as snow removal in winter. Facilitate the online and in person sale of used equipment and store fixtures. Adhere to Tim Hortons Always Fresh standards, maintaining a very clean and organized work environment. Liaise with management to prioritize tasks and ensure smooth operation of maintenance activities.

Additional Role Information: Initial light training in customer service to understand the broader operational context. Strong time management skills required, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Must possess a valid drivers license and have own vehicle for commuting to work sites. Ability to work flexibly, learn new skills, and operate in a very fast-paced environment. Some evening and weekend work will be required. Should have the capacity to determine when professional external services are needed versus in-house repairs. Must practice safe work habits (housekeeping, hazard identification). Read, comprehend and follow machine operations manuals and follow instructions to get in working order.
