Reception:
- Manage the incoming calls, routing calls as appropriate.
- Greet all visitors and inform the appropriate staff of their arrival.
- Process sales transactions and receive payments.
- Receive and distribute email correspondence.
- Process daily outgoing mail and incoming mail from postman including opening, stamping, and sorting.
- Open and close reception, as well as keeping it clean and tidy throughout the day, locking doors at the end of day.
- Processing customer POs to work orders.
- Create customer invoices from work orders.
- Calling for pricing for materials, including issuing POs for product.
- Scheduling courier pickups for shipped orders.
- Manage office supply orders and maintain appropriate quantities in reception stock room.
- Other special projects from other departments as required.
ABILITIES
- Exceptional customer-service skills and effective communication both verbal and written.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Basic accounting course experience is an asset but not required, aptitude and passion for working with numbers a must.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and multi-task is a must.
- Minimum 2 years Receptionist experience
- Experience with MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook, must be comfortable with working with spreadsheets
